About Des

I am the EMEA Partner here at Step Forward. I focus my time on our clients, business development and expanding our partnership program. I joined Step Forward Partners because of the opportunity that exists between matching the need of our customers with the extensive experience of our skilled resources.

Projects

  • Extensive experience at turning around troubled projects. At times projects can run into trouble, be it technical, lack of planning, resource constraints, poor design etc.  The way forward is at first often hard to see but will always depend on clarity of purpose, collaboration, and trust.

  • Rates STP Transformation Programme for a tier 1 bank with the aim of breaking the historic traditional link between volume and staffing for the banks’ OTC derivative business. Global rollout across 17 countries

Various roles | Misys (Now Finastra)

VP for Transformation of our Services GTM which included a root and branch transformation of our Services GTM, based on a BPM/ partner approach, which changed all aspects of how we did business from how we developed, tested, sold and specifically implemented our solutions.

VP Services Europe, head of the European Services business of over 320 consultants based in 4 main European centres responsible for the delivery of all Finastra software solutions and project sponsor on for our largest engagements.

VP Global Sales of Services with overall responsibility for £100M services sales target and for the business development of new revenue streams.
